Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of being part of styled wedding photoshoot, that brought together a talented collective of wedding creatives, to weave an editorial dream to inspire brides when planning their perfect day. Set within a Grade II* listed Georgian-Victorian manor – Berwick House, Shrewsbury, its elegant dining room and topiary lawns offered the most enchanting backdrop to this photoshoot that embraced a timeless and romantic aesthetic. Soft blush and burgundy autumnal florals by Seed and Wild unfurled against opulent candelabras, vintage china, calligraphy stationery and draped linens, while a divine ivory cake adorned with delicate iced pearls by Wren Cake Design added a touch of decadence.

Designed and made for this refined romance styled wedding photoshoot – the ‘Berwick Rose’, a gown inspired by the timeless beauty of the Georgian-Victorian manor setting and brought to life by our model, Rose.

I designed and created ‘Berwick Rose’ especially for the shoot in just 8 days!… not my normal timeframe for a bespoke dress btw. The dress : an opulent drop-waist ballgown, crafted in a buttery silk mikado, with a cat eye structured bodice and beautiful corded lace front. Leaning into the Bridgeton-revival aesthetic, the gown blends period-inspired elegance with modern couture structure, resulting in a look that feels both regal and contemporary.
